The purpose of this Team Captain role is to assist in meeting daily targeted goals as outlined by the Team Leader. They will coordinate daily operations through assigning tasks to operators, monitoring and reviewing key operational performance, providing technical guidance, and leading initial problem-solving activities. The Team captain is responsible for the successful training and development of all team members in accordance with standard work practices and training documents. Team captains will lead and direct a team of four or more team members. The Team Captain will also be responsible to track and trend operational data and take part in Continuous Improvement activities to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics for the operation.
