About The Position

The Operator’s primary job function is to operate machinery and equipment as needed. Operators are also expected to assist in the general operation of each job sit.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintenance of erosion control devices.
  • Loading and unloading of materials.
  • Checking and maintaining string line.
  • Set up and maintenance of all traffic control aids.
  • Operates equipment such as heavy machinery.
  • Maintenance of all equipment and tools.
  • The above-listed duties require periods of standing, walking, climbing, stooping and bending.
  • Employee must be able to climb equipment’s ladder to reach the operator’s seat.
