About The Position

This position requires considerable knowledge in construction and maintenance of high voltage overhead and underground distribution of 12.4KV to 69KV systems. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years high voltage experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Regular, dependable attendance
- U. S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations
- Must lift 75 lbs. unassisted
- Must work in extreme weather conditions - summer peaks at 120° Fahrenheit
- Must wear appropriate Person Protective Equipment (PPO)
- Dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication
- Be able speak, write, read, and understand English
- Well-mannered customer service attitude
- Willing to cross-train in other areas
- Punctual, responsible, and dependable
- Demonstrate motivation, initiative, and reliability
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to adjust to new or changing instructions

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and correct problems using blue prints, drawings and specifications
- Trouble shoot and repair most complex problems
- Proficient in computing load requirements, wire sizing, electrical test equipment
- Use electrical hand tools
- Perform work safely under hazardous conditions
- Perform most complex and unusual tasks of the craft without supervision
- Perform work of the craft in a rapid and efficient manner under extreme conditions
