About The Position
Salted is the largest delivery-first restaurant group in the United States, focused on building the next generation of the restaurant industry by making better-for-you cuisine accessible through clean-label, plant-driven, and delicious food. This Lead Line Cook position in Philadelphia involves preparing and cooking food to Salted's culinary standards, maintaining sanitation, collaborating with the virtual Front of House team, managing opening/closing procedures, assisting in staff training, and fostering positive team dynamics.
Requirements
- Solid foundation in culinary skills, including knife/prep work, flat-top cooking, and more
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items to perfection, accurately following our Salted culinary standards.
- Maintain compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with our virtual Front of House team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Take ownership of the opening, closing, and shift hand-off process.
- Assist in the training and development of staff members.
- Facilitate smooth team dynamics by addressing and resolving minor conflicts among staff, fostering a harmonious work atmosphere.
