About The Position

We are looking for a Lead Lifeguard who enjoys promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere while providing excellent customer service at its best by expressing an outgoing upbeat friendly personality. In this position, you will coordinate the daily operation of the lifeguards and their rotations in the pool area. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Possess a lifeguard, CPR & First Aid certifications or acquire after hire.
  • Flexible to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends and Holidays.
  • Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Requires occasional handling and maneuvering of persons in excess of 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in leading daily operations of the pool, leads personnel functions such as training, scheduling, rotations, and recognition of lifeguards.
  • Coordinates the prevention of aquatic incidents through the policies, rules, and regulations governing the conduct of owners/guests while preventing pool emergencies.
  • Provides emergency care/treatment, as needed.
  • Routinely inspects area to ensure cleanliness, equipment is in good working condition.
  • Knowledge of water rescue methods, life guarding and first - aid practices and techniques.
  • Other duties as assigned by your leader.
