The Role This role is a people leader accountable for driving the plant’s Electrical First Time Quality (EFTQ) performance and delivering sustained improvements across electrical manufacturing systems. The position leads, develops, and empowers a team responsible for executing all Electrical Bill of Operations (BoO) elements across both Steady State and Launch, ensuring alignment to plant objectives and enterprise quality metrics. This leader partners across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Launch organizations to proactively identify risk, ensure electrical sufficiency, and deliver strong customer outcomes reflected in warranty performance. The role serves as the plant electrical authority during launch activities, influencing early build decisions and communicating priorities, risks, and execution plans to plant leadership. Additionally, this leader is responsible for learning, translating, and operationalizing GM’s evolving Electrical Architecture and Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) strategies within manufacturing, driving disciplined adoption through standards, systems, and people development.
