Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm Seasonal flexibility is required for snow removal and weather-driven priorities. Requirements

• Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality landscape maintenance. Ability to operate landscaping and snow‑removal equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work outdoors year-round in heat, cold, snow, and ice. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Knowledge Horticultural principles, turf management, and plant health care. Irrigation inspection, adjustment, and seasonal maintenance. Organic and sustainable lawn/garden practices. Snow and ice management techniques.
• Experience Minimum 2 years of landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred: irrigation experience, pesticide certification, arborist training.

Responsibilities

• Turf Maintenance Oversee turf health through aeration, overseeding, topdressing, and fertilization. Monitor for pests, weeds, and disease; arrange organic or approved treatments. Supervise contractors and POC for turf-related work.
• Landscape & Seasonal Grounds Care Serve as the primary owner of campus grounds year-round. Maintain beds, perennials, and shrubs through pruning, trimming, and deadheading. Apply organic fertilizers, soil amendments, and compost tea. Design and maintain visually appealing, healthy plant arrangements. Support irrigation inspection, adjustment, and seasonal startup/winterization. Maintain walkways, hardscape, and landscaped features free of debris.
• Snow & Ice Management Clear snow from sidewalks, paths, and pedestrian areas. Apply ice‑control products and support snow‑equipment mobilization. Respond promptly to changing conditions to ensure safe access.
• Equipment & Safety Safely operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, snow equipment, and other tools. Follow safety protocols and report damaged equipment or hazards promptly.
• Resident & Staff Support Provide excellent customer service when responding to landscaping or snow-related concerns. Coordinate with resident groups on approved grounds-related requests.
