WHAT YOU’LL OWN Landscape & Seasonal Grounds Care Maintain attractive, safe outdoor spaces year-round. Prune, trim, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and perennials. Apply organic fertilizers, soil amendments, and compost tea. Control weeds using manual or organic methods. Design and maintain visually appealing plant arrangements. Prune trees and shrubs; install or remove tree wraps seasonally. Monitor for insects, disease, and other plantâhealth concerns. Inspect and adjust irrigation systems; assist with startup/winterization. Maintain outdoor water features. Conduct spring, mid-season, fall, and winter cleanups. Keep sidewalks and walkways free of debris. Snow & Ice Management Clear snow from sidewalks, walkways, and pedestrian areas. Remove snow from parking lots and hardscape areas as directed. Apply iceâcontrol products to keep surfaces safe. Assist with plowing and snowâequipment mobilization. Respond quickly to snow/ice events to maintain safe access. Equipment & Safety Operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, snow blowers, plows, and other equipment. Follow all safety protocols and use proper PPE. Report hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions promptly. Resident & Staff Support Respond professionally to landscaping or snowârelated requests. Meet with resident groups as needed. Provide positive, serviceâminded interactions with residents and staff. Marginal Functions Assist with planting events, seasonal displays, or environmental projects. Participate in crossâtraining with maintenance staff. Support general building maintenance tasks as needed. WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality landscape maintenance. Ability to operate landscaping and snowâremoval equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work outdoors year-round in heat, cold, snow, and ice. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Knowledge Horticultural principles, turf care, and plant maintenance. Irrigation inspection and minor maintenance. Organic and sustainable lawn/garden practices. Snow and ice management techniques. Treeâcare fundamentals (arborist knowledge a plus). Experience Minimum 2 years of landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance. Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
