Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in software development, with strong hands-on coding and troubleshooting skills.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and driving complex IT initiatives.
  • Expertise in driving cross-functional collaboration and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Deep understanding of high-availability, clustered environments and their architectural implications.
  • Solid experience applying Agile development methodologies to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Broad technical knowledge of .NET, Node.js, Java, C#, and modern development tools (SVN, GitHub, Jira, Confluence).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction, mentorship, and strategic guidance to peers and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the workload of engineers, balancing with business demands
  • Actively promote the on-time completion of projects while managing priorities/escalations
  • Set measurable objectives for the team and individual reports and guide to achieve them
  • Encourage innovation of process and creative development methodologies by all
  • Present creative solutions to technical and/or business requirements and challenges where possible
  • Manage key cost elements related to the delivery of projects, products, or systems. Seek methods to optimize performance, reduce costs and improve service levels.
  • Provide project leadership in all phases of systems design, development and support.
  • Prepare strategic plans, task development, estimates, work plans, project schedules and reports for management.
  • Actively lead or participate in resolving key issues that impact the performance of the team, products or project progress
  • Work closely with various product teams to determine optimal and agile solutions and provide/guide through alternatives when necessary
