About The Position

The role of IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for the Aerojet Rocketdyne Camden site is dynamic and influential. The BRM is the strategic interface between the IT organization and Camden Site leadership. The BRM is responsible for fostering deep connections with senior Missile Solutions leadership to swiftly identify and resolve opportunities and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management certifications or relevant experience.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry or manufacturing preferred.
  • Cross-functional IT knowledge and experience (infrastructure, applications, security, networking).
  • Self-directed, versatile, and able to prioritize multiple competing priorities and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IT Service and sub-service owners to understand strategic plans and identify areas impacting the business.
  • IT liaison between business functional leadership for Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Real Estate, Engineering, etc.
  • Facilitate IT Service Delivery and escalations for business-critical services.
  • Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to cross-functional staff at various levels concerning business unit requests, projects, and initiatives.
  • Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantages and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business units.
  • Frequently address new and challenging problems requiring effective solutions.
  • Confirm delivery of new technology solutions as well as capabilities in accordance with the roadmap to ensure that they meet the established objectives and expectations of business partners.
  • Facilitate IT Service Delivery and escalations for business-critical services.
  • Daily coordination and interface with IT suppliers to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance at the Secret level.
