About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: ​Direct the duties of the Invasive Cardiac & Vascular Specialist mission partners. Responsible for staffing assignments, adjusting for the needs of the department. Function as the “Go to" person for questions, concerns, complaints and work to problem solve issues. Assist department leadership with projects new initiative implementation, and overall team communication. Provide technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures. Use of ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data. Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional procedures, to include preparation and manipulation of catheters, guide-wires and other devices. Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician. Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy. Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • Graduate of AMA Approved School in Radiography
  • 2 years of interventional radiology experience
  • AHA BLS
  • ARRT
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
