A Brief Overview The Lead Integration Engineer at Safelite works on an agile technology team, and is focused on integrating systems/application experiences for Safelite clients and consumers. They have a deep technical knowledge of the application and understand how it interacts with other applications across the organization. They play a key role in the planning and delivery of future changes to the application. The Lead Engineer usually leads at least one medium to large project at a time, keeps complex projects on-track and sustainably implemented. They leverage their own abilities and experience to mentor and improve the productivity of the entire team, and acts as an ambassador for their team with other teams. What you will do Interprets specs and identifies gaps in business contexts and asks stakeholder questions to close gaps, adds technical implementation and constraint details to story, stories can be executed by others with minimal interaction Leads the design process that generates application functional and technical specifications; responsible for designing and developing integration solutions that enable seamless communication between different systems and applications Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues: The Senior Integrations Engineer needs to be able to independently troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with integration solutions Develop, construct, test and maintain data management systems using appropriate tools to perform data ingestion, transformation, cleansing and loading Work with development engineers, product managers, account managers and other departments to understand the technology resolve problems Coding, testing, debugging, implementing and documenting MuleSoft based flows and integrations Coaches and trains Associate Integration Engineer and Integration Engineer members of team on code structure, patterns; review and approve pull requests, and provide feedback on overall code quality Partner with Technology Development to develop and qualify process improvements. Provides production support through monitoring, notification and job/service management Documents application design specifications and implementation procedures to improve application quality and reuse of code
