About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the Object Storage Engineering team. As part of this team, you will work closely with architecture to assess new solutions, certify releases and make recommendations on go-forward strategies in the file and object storage space. You will also work closely with operational support, providing guidance and Level 2 support as needed. This position works with a variety of technologies so experience in one or more of these areas is preferred: Storage: NetApp, Hitachi Operating Systems: Windows, VMWare, Linux Databases: SQL, Oracle, Mongo Network: Arista, Cisco, Firewalls Languages: Python, PowerShell Automation Platform: Ansible In this role, you will: Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements Automate processes to streamline operational efforts Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices Design complex system upgrades Resolve troublesome trends as they develop Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience with NAS storage software and systems
