About The Position

Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher (Full-Time) 📍 Northwood, Ohio 💰 $13–$21/hour (based on experience, education, and responsibilities) Imaginative Beginnings-Northwood is seeking a full-time Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood, values play-based learning, and wants a stable, consistent schedule in a supportive center environment. Most positions follow a typical daytime schedule (ex: 8:00am–5:00pm) within our center hours of 5:30am–5:30pm. 🌱 About Our Center Serving children 6 weeks–11 years Reggio-inspired & play-based philosophy Focus on relationships, curiosity, and child-led learning Supportive leadership and ongoing professional development

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, AED, Child Abuse Prevention)

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a childcare or early childhood setting
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
Experience working with infants and/or toddlers
Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers
Create and carry out lesson plans aligned with center philosophy and state standards
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Observe and document children’s growth and development
Build strong, respectful relationships with families
Communicate daily with parents regarding children’s needs and progress
Maintain required classroom records (attendance, lesson plans, daily reports)
Collaborate with team members to ensure program quality and consistency
