Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher
About The Position
Angie’s Angels Child Development is seeking a full-time Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood, values play-based learning, and wants a stable, consistent schedule in a supportive center environment. Most positions follow a typical daytime schedule (ex: 8:00am–5:00pm) within our center hours of 5:30am–5:30pm. 🌱 About Our Center Serving children 6 weeks–11 years Reggio-inspired & play-based philosophy Focus on relationships, curiosity, and child-led learning Supportive leadership and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, AED, Child Abuse Prevention)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a childcare or early childhood setting
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Experience working with infants and/or toddlers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers
- Create and carry out lesson plans aligned with center philosophy and state standards
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Observe and document children’s growth and development
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families
- Communicate daily with parents regarding children’s needs and progress
- Maintain required classroom records (attendance, lesson plans, daily reports)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure program quality and consistency
