About The Position

Join our production team as a hands-on leader overseeing daily workflow, safety, and quality in the paint department. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, you'll guide team members, ensure paint is properly mixed and set up, and help drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do: Direct daily operations to meet production goals Communicate specs and quality standards clearly to team members Train new employees and support a positive, team-oriented culture Address quality issues and escalate concerns as needed Collaborate on scheduling and shift priorities Step in as an IHB Lab Technician when needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Use tools and PPE properly and efficiently Support process improvements and employee development What We’re Looking For: A reliable, adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well, and motivates others with positivity and fairness.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead a team environment a must.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong understanding of production and quality processes required.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High levels of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and/or conflicting situations.
  • The position requires the ability to team lift, load and carry items weighing up to 150 pounds.
  • All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Combination of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in leadership and participation or completion of leadership program preferred.
  • Previous paint mixing experience preferred. Normally acquired through three (3) to five (5) years of experience.
