About The Position

We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to join us in leading and growing our Identity Team at LTK. As an Identity Team Lead, you will build a team of engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance, reliability, security, and scalability of our Identity platform, making sure every component is running at its peak.

Requirements

• 4+ years of management/lead experience, leading a Software Engineering Function
• 5+ years of demonstrated expertise shipping commercial products and services, preferably in Go
• Experiencing architecting, building, and operationalizing an identity and authentication platform for organizational adoption
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred)
• Deep understanding and expertise of Auth0, Okta, Authentik, Keycloak, or similar identity provider solutions.
• Deep understanding and experience rolling out authorization systems such as OPA, FGA (OpenFGA), or similar solutions.
• A mindset focused on seizing opportunities and moving with urgency

• A growth mindset and openness to feedback

Responsibilities

• Drive the vision and strategy for our Identity Platform in partnership with the Product & the Business
• Spend time both leading and executing (approx 20/80% split)
• Take an active role in hiring, goal setting, performance management, promotions, and driving retention strategies across your team
• Empower, challenge, and coach a team of senior engineers to grow their impact as individual technical leaders by providing them with context and continuous feedback
• Effectively prioritize and manage our engineering roadmaps in alignment with our product roadmap
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across engineering and product management.
• Define, document, and build golden paths for identity, authentication, and authorization.
• Work with teams across the company to gather requirements, support, and drive projects forward
• Partner with Senior Management to identify appropriate metrics for monitoring the team’s performance
