About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC professional with strong leadership skills to guide and grow our installation and service team in Fond du Lac, WI.

Mobile Home Stuff Store, a Style Crest company, is expanding and seeking a Lead HVAC Service Technician to help drive excellence in manufactured housing installation and service. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll mentor installers and technicians, uphold high-quality standards, and deliver outstanding customer experiences every day.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on HVAC service/installation experience in residential environments. Experience with HVAC systems in manufactured or modular housing is highly preferred.
• Must be EPA 608 certified.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, codes, and troubleshooting
• Proven leadership skills and a desire to mentor others
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (clear MVR)
• Willingness to work on-call and overtime as needed
• Leadership experience or the ability to train and mentor others

Nice To Haves

• Experience with HVAC systems in manufactured or modular housing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coach HVAC technicians on installation and service best practices
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and installation on a wide range of equipment, including: Air conditioning systems & heat pumps Furnaces, boilers, and burners Refrigeration systems & hermetic compressors Fans, economizers, and humidifiers
• Pre-measure jobs and ensure proper materials are prepared
• Maintain service vehicles and manage truck stock inventory
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and code requirements
• Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate when needed
• Communicate job progress and delays with dispatch and management
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
• Participate in after-hours service calls and support team operations
