About The Position

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred.
Valid HVAC technician license and EPA certification.
Proven experience leading a team of HVAC installers or technicians.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation best practices.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in various environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee the installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Lead and manage a team of HVAC installers, providing guidance and training as needed.
Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and plan the layout of HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry standards during installations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the installation process.
Maintain accurate records of installations, including materials used and time spent.
Inspect completed installations to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
Order and manage inventory of necessary materials and equipment for installations.
Communicate effectively with clients to address questions or concerns regarding installations.
Uphold a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
Provide feedback and performance evaluations to team members for continuous improvement.
