About The Position

The Lead HVAC Installer is responsible for installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including light metal fabrication and duct work. This role involves leading a small crew in the installation of various HVAC components such as condensers, air handlers, furnaces, mini-splits, and AIQ products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, possess a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

Possess a minimum 5 years’ experience installing or equivalent expertise
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical school training or apprenticeship in HVAC installation and repair
Experience in HVAC installation and repair
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces

Nice To Haves

Boiler install experience
Knowledge of Trane and Mitsu equipment

Responsibilities

Install HVAC equipment as “lead installer” in residential and light commercial settings
Build and install duct work, including light sheet metal fabrication
Act as primary liaison between HVAC division manager and install techs/helpers
Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Attend period, paid training and stay up to date with industry trends and developments
