About The Position

In this position as Lead, Housing and Stability Services, you will provide day-to-day leadership, coordination, and case management support for the Supportive Living Program (SLP) at Sally's House and Bluebird Apartments, ensuring survivors receive high-quality, trauma-informed services as they transition to independence. You'll serve as a lead practitioner and mentor to case managers, resident advocates, and our housing navigator, offering guidance, coaching, and coordination that elevates service delivery across the team. Working closely with the Senior Director of Residential Services, you'll monitor service effectiveness, support policy implementation and compliance, facilitate team meetings and case coordination, and ensure consistent, client-centered care that honors each survivor's journey to stability. You'll also oversee daily operations, including census monitoring, service capacity communication, data collection for program compliance, and collaboration with residential programs and community partners. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or similar degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in direct services to victims of domestic violence or similar human services programs.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and a clear driving record.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence/sexual assault related issues from an empowerment philosophy, and the effects of trauma on survivors’ thoughts and behaviors
  • Knowledge and expert skill in developing and implementing methods for measuring the effectiveness of social work practice and services in the specialty area, utilizing program evaluation tools to improve the quality of services.
  • Ability to make recommendations for modifying client case plans based on client feedback and satisfaction surveys.
  • Ability to write policies, procedures, and/or practice guidelines pertaining to program guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral) are required.
  • Ability to build strong teams to meet performance goals.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and staff from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Ability to plan, make sound decisions, and lead others.
  • Experience in intervening in crisis situations using sound professional judgment, ethical practice, and common sense.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call responsibilities
  • Ability to gather data and prepare documents for program grant reporting.
  • Knowledge and intermediate skills working with MS Word, Outlook
  • Duties are usually performed seated with occasional periods of standing or walking.
  • Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 25 lbs).

Responsibilities
