About The Position

Lona, which will be located in Noelle, is a dynamic modern Mexican restaurant brought to life by the creative collaboration of renowned chefs Richard Sandoval and Pablo Salas. Lona aims to redefine the Mexican dining experience by combining traditional flavors with contemporary techniques and artistic presentation. Noelle serves as a gathering place for some of the city's most interesting voices and makers as it continues to contribute to the spirit that makes it so unique. The consummate host, a Lead Host embodies hospitality, warmth, and expertise. From taking reservations to making sure a service runs smoothly, this individual is able to easily multitask while remaining collected and professional. The Lead Host is an excellent communicator and problem solver, working closely with multiple team members to ensure that all guests are well taken care of.

Responsibilities

Lead efforts with Host team to use and accurately maintain restaurant reservation system - including but not limited to proper table status, guest cover counts & table rotations through the shift, gathering guest profile notes for system database, etc.
Approachable and professional demeanor with guests & team alike - acting as liaise between guests and leadership
Ability to be patient and understanding while handling issues that arise during service, such as seating conflicts, guest complaints, and team member inquiries, with diplomacy and efficiency
Thorough knowledge of menu and beverage offerings and supporting knowledge of brand vision and standards of quality
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, setting the example for other team members, and contributing to overall ambiance & presentation of the restaurant
