About The Position

Lona, which will located in the Noelle, is a dynamic modern Mexican restaurant brought to life by the creative collaboration of renowned chefs Richard Sandoval and Pablo Salas. Lona aims to redefine the Mexican dining experience by combining traditional flavors with contemporary techniques and artistic presentation. Noelle serves as a gathering place for some of the city's most interesting voices and makers as it continues to contribute to the spirit that makes it so unique. The Lona Supervisor will be responsible for assisting all restaurant + bars operations are smooth and efficient.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a leader in a restaurant setting highly preferred
  • Prior leadership experience highly preferred
  • Professional, approachable and courteous demeanor
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a guest-first mentality
  • Thorough understanding and adherence of safety and cleanliness procedures
  • Required to stand; walk; use hands to serve and clear food, beverages, plates/cutlery/glassware, additional objects
  • Able to bend and kneel to clear tables, serve food, etc.
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Adhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures as defined

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all restaurant departments run smoothly and effectively
  • Ensure all food orders are placed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate and uphold all expectations for service standards that are to be followed by all team members
  • Demonstrate and uphold company time and attendance policies
  • Demonstrate and uphold all appearance standards for your experience, including appropriate uniforms items are worn and are clean and wrinkle-free, and that proper hygiene and grooming standards are met during each shift, for all team members
  • Assist in preparing schedules and ensuring that all shifts are covered
  • Assign daily tasks, side work, and other areas of focus to Team Members so each shift is setup for success and all team members are prepared for service
  • Assist guests as needed with requests, complaints and all other needs
  • Maintain food sanitation standards and ensure all food storage areas are kept clean
  • Control and monitor inventory of all needed materials and equipment
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager; keep in constant communication regarding important or urgent matters – noting intermediate/everyday needs in your daily manager notes
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols
  • Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles
  • Additional duties and assignments as assigned
