Requirements

  • 18 years or older.
  • 1+ year of retail experience, ideally in a Lead or Supervisor role.
  • Energized by people, storytelling, and authentic connection.
  • A natural motivator and team builder – you lift others up.
  • Have an eye for detail and are highly organized.
  • A growth mindset – flexible, creative, and proactive.
  • A love for community, adventure, and impact – and a belief in our Do Good mission.
  • Flexibility with scheduling to support the team and business needs including holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet – this is an active role.

Responsibilities

  • Championing Authentic Guest Experiences
  • We meet every guest where they are – guiding them through their journey with care, curiosity, and intention.
  • Bring energy and personality to every guest interaction – making connections that go beyond transactions.
  • Support your team in delivering consistent, high-impact guest experiences rooted in Cotopaxi’s values.
  • Be a go-to resource on products, local adventures, and our Do Good mission.
  • Operations and Impact
  • Help open and close the store and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
  • Support inventory management, merchandising, and back-of-house organization.
  • Delegate tasks, manage priorities, and uphold store standards that keep things spruced and ready.
  • Offer real-time feedback that grows confidence and strengthens team camaraderie.
  • Support new hire onboarding and help shape a team that reflects our values.
