About The Position

About this role: We’re looking for a Lead Graphic Designer who is a proactive, self‑starter capable of independently driving creative projects from concept through delivery. In this role, you’ll produce compelling video content and create polished, on‑brand graphic design that supports campaigns, internal storytelling, and organizational communications. You will work hands-on across the full creative process—concepting, designing, shooting, editing, and delivering final assets. You’ll partner closely with communication consultants and stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into high‑quality creative content that informs, engages, and elevates the employee experience. In this role, you will: Creative leadership & art direction Lead concepting, story development, mood boards, and visual systems for multi‑channel campaigns and brand initiatives. Champion brand consistency, accessibility, and quality across every deliverable and touchpoint. Translate business goals and briefs into clear creative strategies, timelines, and deliverables. Video production (end‑to-end) Own the full video workflow: scripting and storyboarding → production planning → directing/DP on set → editing, motion graphics, color, audio mix, and final delivery. Optimize aspect ratios, codecs, captions, and versions for web, social, events, internal platforms, and broadcast. Maintain organized project files, releases, and asset management in line with legal/compliance standards. Graphic & visual design Design campaign visuals, presentation systems, event collateral, infographics, one‑pagers, landing pages/hero assets, email and social templates. Extend and evolve brand guidelines, component libraries, and design tokens; ensure ADA‑compliant color, typography, and overall visual accessibility. Collaborate with writers, marketers, and stakeholders to align visuals with messaging and campaign objectives. Oversee print production workflows and manage promotional merchandise projects from start to finish, ensuring accurate file preparation, proofing, vendor coordination, and on time delivery. Project & stakeholder management Scope, estimate, and sequence work; manage timelines and resources across multiple concurrent projects. Present creative rationale to partners and leadership; incorporate feedback while protecting the integrity of the idea.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Graphic Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud—Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects.
  • Proven art direction experience: taking briefs from strategy through concept, execution, QA, and delivery.
  • Demonstrated mastery of the video production lifecycle: scriptwriting, shot lists, camera/lighting/audio on set, editing, color grading, motion graphics, and post‑production workflows.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand systems, campaign work, motion design, and produced video (concept through final).
  • Fluency in typography, layout, composition, color, information hierarchy, and accessibility best practices.
  • Excellent collaboration, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills; able to simplify complex ideas visually.
  • Solid organizational skills with disciplined file hygiene, versioning, metadata, and rights/clearance management.
  • Experience leading or mentoring designers/motion artists; comfort running creative reviews.
  • Familiarity with camera systems (mirrorless/DSLR/cine), lighting setups (three‑point, practicals), audio (lav/shotgun), and grip basics.
  • Knowledge of frame rates, codecs, proxies, LUTs, and delivery standards across platforms (web/social/event/broadcast).
  • Working knowledge of Media Encoder/Audition for finishing.
  • Comfort navigating brand governance and regulated environments (legal review, captioning, disclosures).
  • Experience with AI‑assisted creative tools (content aware fill, rotoscoping aids, transcript‑based editing) used responsibly and ethically.
