About The Position

The Food Service Supervisor performs a variety of kitchen duties as assigned and/or instructs inmate labor in preparation and serving of correctional facility meals in accordance with departmental work production standards, standardized recipes, and work instructions. Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.
Please note: Supervisory duties are in relation to supervising inmate labor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year or more of experience working in a food service role.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
