About The Position

The Woodstock Inn & Resort, a beloved resort in New England, is seeking a Lead Food Runner. This role is at the forefront of guest interaction, involving serving and clearing food and beverage items, engaging with guests to ensure their satisfaction, and maintaining a pristine, secure, and professional setting. This is a full-time, year-round position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Previous hospitality experience, customer service or restaurant experience required
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Must be exceptionally well organized and calm under pressure
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be passionate about service, and able to multi-task
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Serve and clear food and beverage items to guests
  • Adept at all service functions while interacting with guests and maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment
  • Assist with items included but not limited to the following: resetting tables, water/bread service, assisting with Room Service & polishing/restocking silverware
