Job Summary The Floor Care Technician focuses on Infection Control and Prevention by providing proper cleaning and sanitation throughout the hospital and assigned site campuses Reports to: Supervisor, Environmental Services Job Specific Responsibilities Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: • Ensure hospital quality cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas • Staff development through ongoing training (one-on-one), • Perform area inspections to evaluate and monitor quality performance, efficiency, customer satisfaction and infection control standards. • Maintain current area specific records for supply/equipment and inventory control. • Perform and complete all other housekeeping and linen distribution duties assigned, including but not limited to cleaning occupied and non- occupied rooms • All other assigned duties related to Environmental Services

Requirements

+2 years floor tech experience
Basic knowledge of flooring and how to clean all types of floors and carpeting
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Demonstrated basic knowledge, after training, of cleaning procedures, operating equipment necessary, and a clean and safe envriornment

Responsibilities
