Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery is seeking a strategic and results-driven Lead Financial Analyst to lead financial planning and analysis for its Global Wound Closure & Healing (WC&H) Franchise, a $3B business encompassing Wound Closure, Hernia, and Women’s Health platforms. The Senior Financial Analyst will help shape platform strategy, prioritize innovation investments, and drive portfolio transformation to accelerate growth and strengthen the business.

Requirements

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in finance or accounting.
A minimum 4 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting is required.
Proven ability to partner cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment is required.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking is required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities are required.
This position is in Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

Financial leadership, business partnering, and coordination of the annual WC&H R&D business plan and quarterly latest estimates, coordinating between New Product Development and Advanced Evaluation to build an annual budget aligned to platform strategy.
Strategic Business Partnering; collaborate with WC&H leadership to develop platform strategies and optimize the innovation portfolio including the development of business cases for external innovation opportunities.
Monthly/quarterly budget versus actual and headcount reporting and variance analysis for Finance leadership and R&D partners.
Key point of contact for WC&H R&D quarterly actuals and periodic forecast submissions.
Portfolio prioritization and various ad-hoc analyses on portfolio health and priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration; strong partnerships across supply chain teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives
Support the development of dashboards and performance measurement tools to track business health and identify growth opportunities.
