About The Position

SUMMARY We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team to fill a unique FP&A roll that collaborates with revenue generating cost centers with complex billing and support needs as well as standard SGA cost centers. This individual will develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial planning and control, by performing the following duties:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or other related areas; CPA or CMA preferred, 7+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis. Experience in accounting is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to clearly present financial insights to both financial and non-financial audiences; proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
  • Initiative & Adaptability: Self-starter who proactively identifies improvement opportunities and effectively manages multiple priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Experience in accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide finance support to multiple SGA cost centers and functional areas, including building relationships with key business partners and supporting strategic business initiatives.
  • Develop period-end financial reporting and insights to drive improved business performance and generate insights to aid business management and decision making.
  • Prepare analyses in support of the organization’s annual budget process.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate financial performance for revenue generating cost centers, analyzing trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage closely with and align financial objectives and support strategic business decisions.
  • Project Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and model potential promotions and other initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assess current financial processes and recommend improvements for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Work closely with business partners to prepare annual budgeting and forecasting results that meet their business needs and goals.
