Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Tnemec’s values and production goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • General computer literacy
  • Proven problem-solver who thrives under pressure
  • Comfortable operating equipment and performing hands-on tasks
  • Able to lift 100 lbs and work in warm conditions (up to 105°F)
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred
  • Leadership training or seminars a big plus
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

  • Mentoring & Training Work side-by-side with new hires to teach them the ropes from batch-ticket specs to safe equipment operation. Provide real-time feedback and guidance to keep things running smoothly.
  • Process Oversight Monitor labeling, fill weights, color blends, and ensure every product meets the mark. Lead cycle counts and inventory checks to keep us on track. Recommend process improvements, we’re always growing!
  • Team Support & Performance Track team performance and give both kudos and constructive coaching. Help resolve production challenges with a team-first mindset. Communicate expectations around safety, cleanliness, and production standards then lead by example.
  • Facility & Safety Leadership Participate in housekeeping and preventive maintenance efforts. Ensure all work is completed with safety and environmental responsibility in mind. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and respirators when necessary.
