About The Position

The Lead Federal Account Executive – Civilian Agencies is responsible for leading and driving revenue growth across assigned U.S. federal civilian agencies by developing strategic relationships, identifyin g mission-aligned opportunities, and managing the full sales lifecycle. This role requires expertis e in civilian agency procurement, strong partner collaboration, and the ability to position solutions that support agency modernization, efficiency, and public service outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field ( Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the U.S. federal civilian market
  • Demonstrated success selling to civilian agencies with quota-carrying responsibility
  • Strong understanding of civilian agency procurement processes and acquisition timelines
  • Experience selling through federal contract vehicles and partner ecosystems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation
  • U.S. citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing technical roles
  • Experience selling SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, data, or enterprise IT solutions
  • Existing relationships within key civilian agencies (e.g., DHS, HHS, DOJ, Treasury, SSA, EPA, DOT)
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and related civilian compliance standards
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, cloud migration, or zero trust initiatives
  • Active or prior public trust or security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Own, lead, and strategically manage a portfolio of U.S. federal civilian agency accounts, ensuring growth and long-term customer value
  • Develop, refine, and drive execution of multi-year account strategies aligned to agency missions, modernization priorities, and enterprise business goals
  • Oversee and guide the identification, qualification, and capture of new business opportunities across civilian agencies, ensuring disciplined pipeline management
  • Provide leadership across the full sales lifecycle, from early-stage shaping and capture strategy through proposal development and contract award
  • Strengthen and expand trusted relationships with program managers, contracting officers, CORs, and senior technical and mission stakeholders
  • Serve as a subject-matter leader in navigating federal civilian acquisition pathways (e.g., GSA MAS, Schedule 70, CIO-SP4, Alliant, SEWP, T4NG, OASIS, BPAs)
  • Lead coordination with system integrators, OEM partners, and resellers, driving joint pursuits and maximizing partner ecosystem value
  • Ensure forecasting accuracy and pipeline health, overseeing opportunity tracking and CRM discipline across the account portfolio
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales engineering, marketing, legal, finance, customer success) to deliver cohesive capture and delivery strategies
  • Represent the company as a senior interface at civilian-focused events, industry forums, agency briefings, and partner engagements
