As Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will perform preventive and corrective equipment, structures and system maintenance throughout the facility. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and initial resource for related questions and concerns while assisting the department with fulfilling essential day-to-day operations. A caregiver in this position works days 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Four years of work experience in general electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical repair, machinery/millwright or HVAC, OR completion of a formal training program in building repair to include general electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, maintenance repair, machinery/millwright or HVAC
Responsibilities
- Serve as a go-to contact within certain projects across the enterprise.
- Ensure policies and procedures are communicated and upheld by staff.
- Monitor department activities and provide coaching and feedback to team members when appropriate.
- Perform routine electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting maintenance repair work.
- Perform utility and structural repairs alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons as needed.
- Document and maintain records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty/vendor requirements.
- Assist co-workers with maintenance-related questions, comments and concerns in a Subject Matter Expert capacity.
- Work across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.
