General Building and Property Maintenance Performs a wide range of commercial building and property repairs, including carpentry, construction, light electrical, plumbing, and painting. Builds, installs, and repairs structural components such as walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and foundations using wood, metal, concrete, and composite materials. Provides excellent customer service while troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving maintenance issues. Maintains clear communication with supervisors and completes daily work reports and documentation. Performs routine property upkeep including landscaping, snow removal, and basic vehicle maintenance. Ensures all tasks are completed safely, following company and OSHA guidelines. Identifies and corrects hazards, maintains clean work areas, and operates company vehicles responsibly. Works effectively under changing priorities, responds to emergencies, and supports team efforts to achieve organizational goals. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures, dust, dirt, fumes, odors, and loud noise. Requires moderate physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50-70 lbs independently, or more with assistance. Some exposure to physical hazards is possible; adherence to all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols is required. General Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Four to six years of experience in commercial building maintenance, carpentry, or handyman services. Must pass background and BCI checks; valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Proficient with hand and power tools, lawn and landscaping equipment, basic vehicle maintenance, and painting techniques. Available to respond to property service needs in a 24/7 environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with staff and management. Schedule: 40 hours, Monday-Friday 7 am to 3 pm with Flexibility required.
