About The Position

We are seeking a Lead to join our growing Ethics & Compliance team. This role will be responsible for conducting and overseeing internal investigations involving potential violations of the Code of Conduct, company policies, and applicable laws. The ideal candidate brings strong investigative judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, fairness, and independence. This Guidehouse’s Ethics & Compliance team is part of the Office of the General Counsel and is focused on advancing and fostering integrity-based decision making, promoting compliance with external regulations and internal policies, and supporting internal investigations. This role reports to the Director of Ethics & Compliance and Investigations Lead.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6 + years of experience in an Ethics & Compliance, Legal, HR, or similar function, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conducting internal investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance laws, regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading sensitive, complex, and high risk investigations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and independence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues clearly to senior audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a global or highly regulated environment
  • Experience in conducting investigations outside of the US
  • Professional certifications such as CCEP, CCEPI, CFE, or similar
  • Familiarity with Navex Ethicspoint case management system and hotline.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and working with Power Automate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct complex internal investigations arising from hotline reports, management referrals, audits, or other reporting channels
  • Develop investigation plans, including scope, approach, witness strategy, and evidence collection
  • Conduct interviews of complainants, witnesses, and subjects in a professional and neutral manner
  • Review and analyze documents, data, and other evidence to reach well supported factual conclusions
  • Prepare clear, concise, and well reasoned investigation summaries and reports for leadership, Legal, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure investigations are conducted fairly, consistently, confidentially, and in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Partner closely with Legal, Human Capital, Employee Relations, Internal Audit, Information Security, and business leadership throughout the investigation lifecycle
  • Identify trends, root causes, and emerging risks from investigation activity and propose solutions
  • Contribute to improvements in investigation procedures, training, and reporting
  • Support preparation of metrics and high level reporting for senior leadership
  • Promote a culture of integrity, speak up, and nonretaliation across the organization
  • Other duties in support of the overall Ethics & Compliance program.
