At UW Credit Union, the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is crucial for executing strategic priorities and delivering outcomes for members, employees, and business partners. This role seeks an experienced Lead Enterprise Project Manager (internally known as Project Manager III) to lead the largest, most complex, and highest impact initiatives. This position extends beyond traditional project management, requiring leadership of complex projects from initiation through implementation, as well as managing initiatives with multiple interconnected workstreams, cross-functional teams, phased deliverables, vendor relationships, and significant organizational change. It is ideal for someone who can coordinate broader programs or enterprise initiatives with many moving parts. The Lead Enterprise Project Manager will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to leaders across the organization, collaborating with executive sponsors, business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and project team members. The goal is to ensure alignment, remove barriers, manage risk, and progress work toward intended outcomes. Success demands strong project management expertise, excellent communication and facilitation skills, emotional intelligence, business acumen, and the ability to influence without direct authority. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and leading teams through change. They must possess a strong understanding of project and program management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches, and know how to apply the appropriate methodology based on the work being delivered.
