About The Position

As a Lead Engineering Technician II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Military Avionics business unit in Phoenix, Arizona. You will lead a team of technicians and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes and systems. Your leadership and technical skills will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact our Military Avionics business unit by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our engineering processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices. Your attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems will be instrumental in meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or a related role.
  • Strong technical skills in mechanical systems and components.
  • Experience leading a team of technicians.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
