About The Position

As a Project Engineer at Unison, you will contribute to the design and development of products, solutions and systems including activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. In this role you will be accountable for the quality of your own work while subject to direct supervision, prescribed work instructions and systems checking. The Project Engineer works within a well-defined operations framework and generally follows a step-by-step sequence of standard engineering tasks which need to be followed to achieve design and product quality. Job Description Role Overview: Executes the design, analysis and/or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work involves the mechanical design of electrical and mechanical products. Develops conceptual knowledge of technical discipline, primarily based on Mechanical design, analysis and engineering principles. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area. Applies general knowledge of the business as developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of their own team contributes to the area. Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults a supervisor, mentor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters. Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and Unison Industries. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Engineering discipline)
  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship status
