About The Position

Are you an experienced Diploma qualified Lead Educator looking to join a phenomenal team of exceptional, qualified Early Childhood professionals and be supported and encouraged to excel and further develop your Early Childhood career? Great Beginnings Southern River is offering an exceptional candidate a Lead Educator role for our Nursery 2 Room within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children. This role is Part-Time working 30 hours per week with flexibility to work on a rotating roster. Great Beginnings Southern River offers long day care and a kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with extended hours to suit busy families. Our state-of-the-art early learning centre offers a vibrant and engaging environment, designed to inspire curiosity and creativity in our young explorers. Our facilities include: Spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, perfect for active learning and adventure Modern rooms equipped with the latest technology and age-appropriate resources A diverse range of activities to foster growth and development With a capacity for up to 104 children, our centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, providing a safe and nurturing space for your little ones to thrive.

Requirements

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
