About The Position

Are you a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator ready to step into a role where your passion is celebrated and your growth is encouraged? At Great Beginnings Golden Bay , we’re on the lookout for an inspiring Lead Educator to join our warm, energetic, and close-knit team in our Nursery 1 room (6 weeks–12 months). With a cosy group of up to 8 children and a strong two-room nursery partnership, you’ll be well supported to do your best work every day. You’ll bring heart, creativity, and confidence to nurturing our youngest learners, building beautiful relationships, and shaping a calm, engaging environment where babies feel safe, loved, and curious. This is a full-time, fixed-term role (38 hours per week) on a 6-month contract, with the opportunity to extend.

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. At capacity our centre caters for up to 100 children with operating hours from 6.30am to 6.30pm.

Requirements

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
