We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Lead Document Controls Analyst that will play a critical role in evaluating, enhancing, and managing the document control systems that support our engineering, operations, and compliance teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise in PMIS (Project Management Information Systems) integration and enterprise data systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of some college coursework and relevant experience
  • 10+ years experience in document control or information systems management, preferably in industrial or energy sectors
  • Proven experience evaluating and implementing document control systems (e.g., SharePoint, InEight, ProCore, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of document lifecycle management, version control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Power BI and Visio is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Asses the current state of document control systems and workflows across a complex project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for document control modernization
  • Propose options on how existing information systems can be streamlined, connected, enhanced, and replaced to provide a more effective unified system
  • Create training, process and procedure documentation for the enterprise document systems
  • Manage the integration of PMIS platforms and ensure seamless data flow between systems
  • Oversee the configuration, maintenance and user support for document management tools
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal documentation standards
  • Train and support staff on document control procedures and system usage
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports for leadership
