About The Position

As Lead, Digital Business Solutions – Growth, Customer Experience & Regulatory, you will lead a team that partners directly with key business stakeholders to drive operational excellence and enable growth through digital solutions. Your team will serve as the SAP Technology digital solutions partner for Utilities‑aligned business domains, with accountability for ongoing engagement, demand management, sustainment services, and application development. This role ensures digital capabilities support current business needs while evolving toward modern delivery methodologies and scalable, resilient platforms.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 7+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years managing enterprise application environments
  • Strong experience managing ERP solutions, with deep expertise in SAP technical domains (SAP Basis and Security)
  • SAP experience including Customer Relationship & Billing, Device Management, Plant Maintenance, or Mobile Work Management
  • Experience with SAP HANA and high‑availability environments
  • Experience supporting Customer Information Systems and regulated utility operations

Nice To Haves

  • Cloud experience preferred, ideally Microsoft Azure
  • Gas or electric utility experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies (API, EAI, MuleSoft)
  • Experience leading teams using Agile, DevOps, or modern delivery frameworks
  • Proven experience managing outsourcing partners, service delivery, and vendor contracts
  • Exposure to Data Analytics and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is an asset
  • ITIL, Microsoft, asset management, or configuration management certifications are considered an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team that serves as the digital business solutions partner for Growth, Customer Experience, and Regulatory domains
  • Own ongoing engagement with business stakeholders, ensuring digital solutions support operational excellence and evolving business priorities
  • Govern compliance with ITS standards, methodologies, and processes while continuously improving service delivery
  • Serve as the IT focal point for application enhancements and initiatives between business units and service providers
  • Partner with business leadership to assess challenges, identify solutions, and support business case development
  • Proactively gather, analyze, and document business requirements and use cases across your application portfolio
  • Oversee demand intake, prioritization, and backlog management to align resources with organizational priorities
  • Manage technical change control, environment upgrades, release planning, and deployment schedules
  • Oversee testing strategy and execution across applications and releases
  • Lead planning and delivery of digital sustainment initiatives and manage delivery expectations
  • Coordinate delivery of digital services across outsourced service providers and internal shared services
  • Ensure effective transition of new initiatives from project delivery to sustainment
  • Lead application operations support, incident management, and issue resolution with urgency and discipline
  • Oversee root cause analysis activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Establish proactive risk identification and mitigation processes across the application portfolio
