Position Summary: Our Diagnostic Imaging Schedulers are responsible for optimal workflow in scheduling and coordination of Diagnostic Imaging procedures according to department protocols. The Leader Scheduler is responsible to perform a wide variety of duties to include coordination of support staff workflow, scheduling and coordinating patient procedures for Radiology according to department protocols, while ensuring an environment which promotes a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years experience in a hospital or health care related field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology to include diagnosis codes.
- Accurate grammar, spelling and punctuation skills necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with departments, employees, physicians and managers.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic knowledge of window’s based software.
