About The Position

Design, implement, and maintain a complex, modern, automation deployment chain for build, test, and deployment. Validate current and future state technology architectures to assess security impact. Contribute to the architectural design of information and operational support systems, representing the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance in technology projects. Build and maintain effective relationships with management, peers, and internal customers. Act as subject matter expert for assigned technologies and projects. Develop advanced alerts and reports, including correlations, enrichments, and dashboards that appropriately characterize current metrics and operational performance. Assist with the development and maintenance of Information Security policies, standards, processes, and procedures for the university.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in Security, System or Network administration.
  • Strong technical understanding of a broad range of security concepts including those related to application security, operating system security, network security, and cryptography is required.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of application, infrastructure, and networking operations.
  • Strong scripting or programming skills required.
  • Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with infrastructure as code and infrastructure testing strategies preferred.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and open-source penetration testing tools is preferred.
