About The Position

14555 – Lead Developer (SQL/.Net) (Onsite) – Tallahassee, FL Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required)
• Experience with lead software development or development management (7+ years)
• Experience with relational databases including Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle (5+ years)
• Experience with development and maintenance of software systems dealing with complex financial business processes

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET
• Experience with ORMs, Entity Framework, and Hibernate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert for applications dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional projects
• Provide guidance and oversight on quality assurance for all new code from inception through integration, staging, and production environments
• Identify, analyze, and resolve problems and issues using troubleshooting tools, techniques, and teamwork
• Collaborate with developers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, and documentation; contribute to process design and roadmap definition
• Partner with cross-functional distributed teams to ensure all aspects of the project are communicated, supported, and delivered to the highest standards
• Develop and apply knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies, and methodologies
• Facilitate software development efforts, document critical business processes, and analyze current business functions for effectiveness and efficiency opportunities.
