About the role: This is a great opportunity for a contract Developer, reporting to the Manager of Information Systems Programs,developing database-driven applications in a dynamic environment. Working with business analysts, senior developers, and end-users, finding reliable, scalable solutions using Oracle databases and Microsoft .NET technologies. In this hybrid role, you will work both off-site and onsite in Columbia, SC.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or Equivalent professional experience or relevant technical training
1–5 years experience in application development (or equivalent coursework/projects)
In-depth experience with PL/SQL and .NET development, C# and .NET Frameworks, or .NET Core
1-5 years of general development experience including:
RESTful APIs
ASP.NET MVC or Web APIs
JavaScript, HTML, CSS
1+ years of experience using Visual Studio
Understanding of source control systems (Git, TFS, or similar)

Nice To Haves

WebLogic Server/Administrator
Oracle Forms or legacy systems
Agile or Scrum environments

Responsibilities

Develop Oracle PL/SQL code
Use Stored procedures, functions, packages, or triggers
Perform SQL queries and performance tuning
Design applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, or WinForms/WPF as applicable)
Integrate .NET applications with Oracle databases
Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Debug, test, and resolve application and database issues
Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards
Help with application deployments and production support
Collaborate with teams including QA, DBAs, and our users
Document technical designs and application logic
