About The Position

Burgess Construction is growing—and we’re looking for a skilled Lead Deck Builder who can take ownership of projects, lead a crew, and deliver high-quality work without constant oversight. If you’re tired of inconsistent work, disorganized jobsites, or companies that cut corners—we do things differently.

Requirements

• Strong construction background (deck experience preferred)
• Experience with composite decking systems
• Ability to read and follow blueprints
• Proven leadership on jobsites
• Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
• Basic hand tools
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew on residential deck projects
• Read and execute plans/blueprints accurately
• Keep jobs on schedule and running efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship from start to finish
