About The Position

The role of Lead Data Product Manager at Children's Mercy Hospital will use the power of data to bring about incalculable value to our patients, their families, and our community. For this role, the key to delivering value is contingent upon the ability to capture, process, safeguard, and analyze internal data. The Lead Data Product Manager will use advanced analytical methods and technologies, including artificial intelligence in all its myriad forms to meet the data needs of the organization. The Lead Data Product Manager will establish a product management function for the Data Intelligence team. This pivotal role will serve as the primary coordinator and point of contact for new and ongoing Data & Analytics work streams, ensuring continuous delivery of the right work and alignment with higher level objectives. The Lead Data Product Manager will be a leader and a guide for the Data Intelligence team and will work with colleagues and collaborators to build impactful data-driven experiences across the business. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 7 or more years' experience with data platforms, data management, analytics, machine learning, and/or data visualization if no direct Product Management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to produce solution roadmaps in alignment with the strategic objectives of Children's Mercy as well as our enterprise data strategy.
  • Devise and lead our project intake and prioritization framework to consistently identify and deliver the "right work".
  • Partner with Data Intelligence in establishing the Product Management function at Children's Mercy by demonstrating and promoting the proper standards, practices, and procedures.
