Responsibilities

  • Receive and process orders from customers and brokers by email and EDI
  • Interact daily cross functionally with the Transportation, Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, and Sales departments to ensure timely and accurate results
  • Review customer invoices daily prior to submitting for payment
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
  • Recommend alternate products based on availability or specifications
  • Communicate with customers and brokers to keep them informed about promotional opportunities, order status, and any service-related concerns
  • Work with sales and brokers to manage overall customer relationships
  • Use Sauer Brands systems and reporting to manage and maintain accurate customer data
  • Support the Customer Service Manager with the following: Overflow tasks, Transitioning new entities, New employee onboarding, training, and check-in meetings, Customer account and contact set up, Manual invoicing
  • Providing guidance and support to the CSR team
  • Share in bi-weekly team meetings, or lead meetings in absence of manager
  • Represent Customer Service as needed in other company meetings
  • Support CSR team with PBI reporting
  • Manage shelf-life expectations from warehouses and production
  • Work with production to mitigate potential shortages
