About The Position

Sauer Brands is the proud manufacturer of beloved products such as Duke’s Mayonnaise, Kernel Season’s, Spice Hunter, and Mateo’s Salsa. We are looking for someone experienced in customer service and order management to join our team and help make sure consumers can enjoy our great products. Provides support by processing customer orders, answering inquiries by phone or email. Maintain up-to-date customer files, price lists and promotions. Communicates and works cooperatively with brokers, account managers, and other individuals at all levels within the company.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process orders from customers and brokers by email and EDI
• Interact daily cross functionally with the Transportation, Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, and Sales departments to ensure timely and accurate results
• Review customer invoices daily prior to submitting for payment
• Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
• Recommend alternate products based on availability or specifications
• Communicate with customers and brokers to keep them informed about promotional opportunities, order status, and any service-related concerns
• Work with sales and brokers to manage overall customer relationships
• Use Sauer Brands systems and reporting to manage and maintain accurate customer data
• Support the Customer Service Manager with overflow tasks
• Support the Customer Service Manager with transitioning new entities
• Support the Customer Service Manager with new employee onboarding, training, and check-in meetings
• Support the Customer Service Manager with customer account and contact set up
• Support the Customer Service Manager with manual invoicing
• Provide guidance and support to the CSR team
• Share in bi-weekly team meetings, or lead meetings in absence of manager
• Represent Customer Service as needed in other company meetings
• Support CSR team with PBI reporting
• Manage shelf-life expectations from warehouses and production
• Work with production to mitigate potential shortages
